Cruise prices are very fluid and changes from day to day. Given the current financial crise you can find some real good cruise deals both on the cruise lines web pages and from travel agents. Its really byers market now and that gives you (if you have the money to spare) the chances to do the dream cruises. Search the cruise lines web page for info on cruises and opertunities!

My recomendation would be to choice a cabin with balcony/verandah on one of the newest ships around. There is nothing more romantic than seeing a sunset/rise from the privacy of youre own cabin. You could also think about if you can afford a suite with the extra service most cruise lines offer to theyre suite passengers.

As for destinations your opertunities is endless! Europe and the mediteranean is a bit chilly now (its winter) but its still spring temperatures in the mediteranean sea.

I cant think of a more romantic cruise destination than Hawaii. NCL has a few cruises around the hawaiian islands the entire year. Caribean isnt wrong and there is lots of cruises out of Miami/fort lauderdale this time of the year. But if youre wanna leave the beaten track there is panama cruises as well as south america ones. And if you are of the more adventures mind you can always go on Celebertys galapagos expedition cruises and winter is the time to go to Antarctica to. The world is yours... Johan.

You're gonna love it! The prices are great right now due to the bad economy, so if you get in at the last minute, you can go for like half price! Go somewhere warm this time of year. Choose a newer ship and spend the extra money to get a balcony room so you can have fresh air and a view. We went on our first cruise back in September on NCL's Pearl (unfortunately the very same ship a woman chose to jump off of last week - it was in the news). Don't let that stop you. It's a great ship and lots of fun. Definitely go now and not with a baby. That would kill the fun for sure. Hawaii is still kind of expensive compared to the caribbean, so I'd go for the latter. Have fun!!!

for a first cruise go with royal caribbean to the caribbean.

really nice, and really easy. caribbean is good for a first cruise.
they sometime are a little bit more expensive than some...not by much tho. it definitely a upgrade to go with royal caribbean, there boats/food/and shows are way better than the other lines!

Look at vacationstogo.com for comprehensive comparative pricing and details. If you can afford it get a balcony, it's well worth the extra!

With the bad economy discounting is very good just now. We have just returned from a cruise bought though them where we got 72% discount because we left it and booked 3 weeks before departure!

You area about to have the best vacation ever. I love cruises. I have mostly done Carnival cruises. It really depends on what you are looking for .Carnival is considered more of a party cruise, where Royal Caribbean is a little fancier. Choose your cruise based on the itinerary. The best part of the cruise is visiting all the incredible ports. Pay attentions to the rating of the ship, and I prefer the large ships over the medium and small ones.

a lot depends:

Length of cruise/type of cabin/season..air fare needed?

Good luck and enjoy!
