I have only cruised with carnival and royal caribbean, and royal caribbean is definitely better. They have better service, food and more activities than carnival. |

I think Princess is a great line. Very classy and food is great. Next, my choice would be Royal Caribbean, classy, and again the food is great. Next, would be NCL or Celebrity. I am not a great fan of Carnival cruises. The food was mediocre and well.. it just didn't compare to the other lines. Disney is great if you have small kids, but if you dont...... it's really not a great idea.
Sorry, I dont know what ship, what port or where you are going, so I cannot comment on excursions. |

I have cruised with Norwegian, Princess and Holland. Although they all may go to the same places each offer alittle something different. I prefer Norwegian for the general layout of the ship and Princess for their cruisetours. You did not say your ports of call so I can not help with excursions. Read the excursions brochure and decide which you would like. |

I have sailed 8 times with Princess cruises and loved them all. You didn't say which ship your going on or where you are going, so I can't give you any shore excursion tips. I always book my shore excursions with the company I am cruising with because they guarantee that you get back to the ship on time, no matter what. I have seen many people miss the ship getting back from wherever they were. The ship will not wait for you unless it is a shore excursion booked thru them. |
