It depends on what you like to do and the environment on board that you will be most comfortable with. Carnival has very inexpensive rates but they are a party ship and they put on a lot of pressure to party. Holland America has some great deals and they are very laid back, you never feel pressured. The food is better on Holland America. My daughter and I are planning a Western Caribbean Cruise in March on Norwegian, the same boat the woman just fell off of. |

As stated above, most lines limit the summer cruises due to hurricane season, June 1- Nov 1. You can get cruises from Miami and Tampa with no problem. There are also cruises from Charleston S.C. to Bermuda that time of the year. We have cruised on virtually every line and found Carnival the most fun and reasonable. Holland America is very nice but tends to cater to an older cruisers. |

Carnival is usually the cheapest. Best.. well that's a matter of opinion.. some people like different lines for different reasons, but Carnival is a lot of fun. Holland is old people, lol,, Princess is a mixture of both, as well as Royal Caribbean. Carnival's food wasn't the best, but it is far better than anything you will encounter in your best restaurants around any town. They offered alot as far as younger couples. It's a toss, but I have been on 7 cruises now, and they all have great things to offer. A bad day on a cruise ship is better than a great day anywhere else! |

I'm sorry to tell you, but there are very few, leaving for Mexico or the Caribbean in June. Cruise lines, in general, "reposition" for the summer season to Alaska, Europe and Canada. However, I did look at Royal Caribbean line, and they do have several cruises to the Bahamas as well as a couple of cruises that stop in Mexico. The ships depart from Florida, and the rates seem quite reasonable compared to sailing during the winter months. |
