You never see them, because they don't look any different from other people of similar ethnic backgrounds. Unless you're an expert, it's pretty difficult to distinguish between an Inuit and another Native American race or similarly-featured Mongolians and Siberians.
For example, if you saw these two in t-shirts at the beach, would you recognize them as eskimos:

Alaskans do holiday, but they do not look they way you think they should look. They look the same as you and I. I see people from Alaska all the time in my touristy home town. They leave there coats at home, that's all. |
