It depends. How often do you have the chance to go on a cruise? How often do you have the opportunity to through a party. If it was up to me: Seeing another part of the world for a few days is better than one super expensive night.
You are very fortunate to have people who love you and finically are able do this for you.
Maybe you should have a modest party and donate some of the money you would have spent to a local charity you believe in.
Part of becoming an adult is expanding your consciousness to think in a worldly fashion. Not just what's going on in your little part of the world or what's on Mtv.
But I regress... I'm sure you are very deserving. I hope you enjoy your party! |

OMG!!! Cruise all the way, trust me.
Most of the times parties dont end up not the way you would expect them to. When u have a party, u are sooooo worried about what other people think about it that u may not enjoy it yourself. Nope..... thats just extra stress and complications.
Now a cruise, thats for u. U are the center and main person, and its all about u. Now aint that sound fun?!
If you rather be stressed and have some people critizise you after your party, by all means-- have the party. But now if you wanna have a great time and make the day be all about you
(A cruise also lasts more days!n :D) then take the cruise!!!!

Well since you have the option, I'd go witht he cruise. Party might seem like a good choice but when you look back in 15 , 20 years you won't remember the party as much as you would a cruise...

Cruises are amazing... but you want all your friends for your sweet 16. Keep it local and affordable and take the expensive celebration later on in life... high school or college graduation.
