mm im not sure but i went on a carnival and it was amazing.

Formals dinners and stuff you just have to not be in t shirt and jeans i had kackes(sp) and nice shirt!! if you wann go all out dress or a business causual!!

There not like a millin kids but ther are a lot if you 13 you can still have fun they have magic shows and games its really fun.

Carnival has teen clubs you will just have to check online it depends how fancey the boat is..

alaska in july willl be amazing i know this will sound dumb but for real pack capries. its cold outside but all ships keep it hot so he people that only packed jeans alawys walk around in carnival cruis gift shop secial shorts!!

remember have fun take lots of picture and pay close attation to the extras that happen in the ball room!!

well 'Pink my sister just got back the other wk from an Alaskan cruise and loved it!

Although she is married and i think she did tell me there were some kids their with their folks.....
there are some older people but all ages too!
They have all kinds of things for you to do that is fun too!
Do make sure you pack some warm clothes.
also some dress clothes like what you would wear to church and casual ones too!

I've been on Holland America's Alaska cruises several times. There are quite a few older people but that isn't unusual on cruises -- how many other people have the time and money to cruise? :-)

A nice dress is appropriate for the formal and semi-formal dinners. It doesn't need to be a floor-length gown. For everything else, dress for comfort and your own pleasure.

I don't have personal experience with the teen clubs, but here's some information from their site, and I'll include the link below if you want to look into it further: "The Loft and The Oasis*: Teens, ages 13-17 will especially enjoy the teen disco, karaoke sessions, video games, teen sports tournaments, card games, trivia contests, bingo, movies and videos. When there are more than 100 children on board, a HAL Talent Show is offered. (The Oasis is not available on all Vista-class ships)"

Ok you can call Holland & see for your self formal nights are anything but, jeans & they have the Lido Rest. where jeans are fine all the time. Teen clubs all cruise see the their guests of all ages have things to do. There are also people of all ages & from all over the world on a cruise. You never know you may meet a friend for life on one. July is a warm month. Get out on deck an explore the ship, many things to see & do.

Formal can be anything from a prom type gown to a nice evening dress, even just a basic black with a nice jacket.

Chances are, during the summer months, you will run into others of your age group but there's plenty to do and many activities.

Daytime wear would be what you'd wear around town.
Every cruise I've been on has had teens that seem to find all kinds of ways to keep busy, it should all fall into place for you.

Religious Nonsense

Formal night.. Think Prom. Men are to wear tuxes or suits and ties. A nice dress for a Woman. And as far as the early teen clubs... I have no idea. I went with my gf. Good luck!

yeah.
most alaskan cruises are full of old ppl.
but I'm going on a carribean cruise this summer so I'll have lots of teens!!! =P haha.
but if you get just a simple dress, it's good for formal nights.
like a sun dress.
but it might be cold, so wear a sweater to go with it.

last time I went on a cruise, i was 7...so I was stuck in the day care the whole time. So idk how the teen stuff is gonna work for me this year. But I do know that the cruise I'm going on has an age limit to the teen club...you have to be 15-17.
...hopefully you don't get stuck in the day care.
