Royal Caribbean Cruise Staterooms? |
Has anyone noticed a difference in the Royal Caribbean cruises staterooms between interior and large interior. I was wondering if it was worth the small bit of extra money for another 6 square feet? Or if anyone can tell me exactly how much 6 square feet is? Thanks! |

I would stick with the small interior stateroom.
You won't be in your cabin long anyway.
IF you upgrade, go all out and get a balcony room. |

for a little more like a thousand dollars ya i guess it could be worth it. but also 6 square feet isn't that much but it is alot! |

I would say it's worth it. 6 sq. ft. = 2 feet by 3 feet.
2X3=6 |

The extra room is worth it.
If you spend time in your cabin it will be hard to move around if you brought a lot of luggage.
We book the Junior Suite at least just to have the balcony and the room with a bathtub.
In a small interior stateroom it is close quarters just getting into bed.
Six square feet is about the size of the bathroom.
Now the shower in a stateroom..... |

Spend the money and get a balcony. You will be so glad you did. That is the fun part of the cruise, being able to look out and see the scenery and smell the water. It puts you on a high like no other. |

Its not just the extra square feet that has the potential to change. You may also be on a better deck. |

I have been on many Royal Caribbean ships and my recommendation is upgrade to a balcony cabin, rather than another inside cabin. If you are inside those 2 or 3 feet will make no difference. But if you are in a balcony cabin it not only givers you more light, but then you can go and sit out any time you want. It really makes your cabin look and feel larger. The balcony upgrade is definitely worth the upgrade. |

Definitely get the extra space. Me and my parents went on a cruise in the smaller interior and, with everything that your taking aboard, there was hardly any space to walk. Plus my mom is an excellent organizer, and we still hardly had room to walk. It will most likely be an extra $50-$100 per person, based on double occupancy (means that the third and fourth person is going to be cheaper basically) it will definitely be worth the extra bucks! |

no, your not in your stateroom very often, |

It's soooo worth it to get the larger interior! Me and my friends get whole sale pricing, so we don't worry about it. See my 360 profile, learn what we are doing, its a NO BRAINER!
Yay! |

The upgrades are TOTALLY worth the money.
Take a read:
I was frugal on my first cruise and paid for an inside cabin. Bad news - I was groggy the whole time and could not get up for the life of me, since the cabin is pitch black with the lights off, day AND night.
The next time I got a cabin with a window - totally worth it! My sleep was more restful and I didn't miss out on as much stuff. Completely worth the extra moolah.
The next time after that my fiance paid for a suite - now THAT is the way to cruise! (We vowed to cruise in a suite from then on) The sitting area gives you more room and believe me, you're going to appreciate the extra 6 square feet. I previously found space for luggage to be a problem, so you'll be more relieved of this claustrophobia-creating issue.
6 square feet... Imagine a box that's 6 feet on all sides. It's about that. You'll appreciate this because you won't be doing that whole thing where one person has to sit down just for the other person to get by.
So go for the extra square footage! You won't regret it. :) |
