Royal Caribbean cruise? How many can fit in one room?

My mom is thinking of taking us on a cruise. We want a simple oceanview room and aren;t looking to spend too much on a room. However, when we try to book online, it says no more than four people can fit in a room. There are five of us, but one is a baby and we really don't think it is necessary for him to have his own bed. They say that we have to call them and book multiple rooms. How big are the rooms really? and do you think there will be enough room for two adults, a teenager, a child, and a baby to stay in one room?

What you need to do is select a cruise and ship that has a family sized cabin. Many Royal Caribbean ships have these type cabins that accommodate up to six (6) people. Take a look at this RC web site that describes the cabins and ships that they are on: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/cabinclass/cabinTypes/cabinType/home.do;jsessionid=0000DzrMQJJHZE1qgsVG3LmG4_t:12hdhu6tq?br=R&cabincls=O&cabinType=FF

Most cabins are rather small for 4 people; they are generally under 200 square feet. These family cabins are over 300 square feet and provide the type room that you will need for your family.

No way.
You could fit, but VERY scrunched.I just went on one, there was: 2 adults, and 2 12 yr olds..
That was not very cozy wat all, specially if you have a baby to.

Id suggest 2 rooms, or a suite at least.

The rooms are unbelievably tiny. There is like two bunk beds with two each. You know the amount of space your toilet takes up. That's how big the shower is.

Personally I don't. I mean I think the rooms are barely big enough for 3. They aren't as big as a hotel room. But most importantly when the baby is sleeping, can everyone get dressed for dinner without waking the baby? If the teenager wants to stay out at the club, will everyone be mad if (s)he isn't perfectly quiet when coming back in?

You can get adjoining rooms, but an ocean view isn't as big as a balcony which isn't as big as a suite. While 5 could be in a suite, an ocean view is about half the average hotel room and the bathroom is even smaller.
