Royal Caribbean formal night question.?

Royal Caribbean formal night question.?
I am going on a Royal Caribbean cruise over Thanksgiving on the ship Enchantment of the Seas that leaves on a Monday and gets back on a Monday and there is supposed to be 2 formal nights and a semi formal night but I can't find which nights the formal dinners are going to be. Does any one know from past experience when they might be?

I used to work onboard and although the other answers aren't bad, there are a few things a bit off... don't assume that the formal nghts are all sea days. Royal Caribbean will have their first formal night on the second night of the cruise, which is a sea day. The second formal night is usually the second to last night of the cruise, which is often the same day as your last port of call (having it the last night won't work; everyone is packing their bags).

I called Royal Caribbean for you and spoke to an agent who confirmed that this was, indeed, the formal night schedule... So it'd be the 20th (sea day #1) and the 24th (Cozumel day).

when I was on my ships, I had formal night on the Cozumel night as well... the Grand Cayman night would have been better since we left port earlier, but just know in advance and plan accordingly, and it will be just fine. Realize that although ship doesn't leave Cozumel until 7pm, the formal night will get going at normal time, so make sure you are ready for that dinner and your photos on time!

Have an awesome trip!

They'll state it in their daily runner when it is.

I didn't know until I got on the ship.

On Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines(RCCL) the formal nights are on nights you are at sea.

They do that so when your at port you do have to rush back and clean up to get ready to go to formal night.

=)

Hope this help alot!

ohhhdear
We cruised on the Majesty of the Seas a few years ago. In our cruise documents there was an itinerary which listed which nights were formal and semi-formal dinners. Check your documentation for more details.
You could also call the travel agent who set up your cruise. I checked out the Royal Caribbean's website and although they confirmed that your cruise has 2 formal and 1 "smart casual" dining night, they didn't indicate which nights they were.
From past cruising experience, formal nights are often held on days which you're not at port. On your cruise that's the 20th and 25th. However, that could change; please check your travel agent or the shipboard itinerary when you get onto the Enchantment. Have fun!

Usually the formal nights are on the days of sea, usually one at the beginning like the day after you board and then like one of the last nights you are on the ship. The semi formal nights kind of throw you off because they can be anywhere but usually are in the middle of the week. Hopefully this helps.

Did they extend that cruise? I thought it was a 5 day that left on a saturday. If not there will be one formal night on the second day of the cruise (the day at sea) if they did extend it it will most likely be the second day and the next to the last day of the cruise. In any case I found this huge thread on enchantment of the seas which will probably have any information on anything about the ship that you need.
