Royal Caribbean or Carnival for a younger crowd (20s)?

I am planning on taking a cruise to Mexico winter break with some fraternity brothers. We are looking for a rather crazy time and preferably a cruise with a lot of people our age (18-23). Should we go Carnival or Royal?

Well in your case there is only one chioce. Royal Caribbean allows guests under 21 (but over 18) in a stateroom as long as there is someone over 21 to take responsibility for them. Carnival does not. Someone must be 25 if you have under 21 yos.

However that being said I think Carnival would be a better choice for you guys. Carnival is more fun party ship, frat boy type party ship. To me Royal Caribbean is more romantic, honeymooners. More couples. That's a long time away and your age is the date of sailing. If the teenagers back out or can't go, do Carnival. If the teenagers are going, go with Royal.

EDIT: I'm not sure why I'm getting thumbs down for telling him the age restrictions. Despite the thumbs down, those under 21 will not be allowed to board without someone 25 in the cabin. Royal just requires one person in each cabin to be over 21 which it sounds like you would have. Here are a couple other sites as well.

Please go on Carnival. This is the party ship and there are usually lots of single women. Royal Caribbean is geared toward couples although singles do travel. But if you want to have a good time and party with other single people please go Carnival. That's the ship of choice for me and believe me as far as single women are concerned you'll enjoy and they'll be happy you are there trust me.

ROYAL ! 10000% i went on when i was 18 and there were like so many people in there 20s . i heard carnival has more old people . those people that are saying royal is more quiet . are prob old . when i went on you could be as loud as you wont . just not like in the hallls . in the clubs & outside you can party as hard as you want .
