It's supposed to be a booze cruise and my birthday happens to be on the last day were at sea.. but there is this asshole going who can't stop making jokes about how my last GF blew him in a bar bathroom and how he wants to bang my sister and yada yada.. I'm thinking, would it be worth it to just go and avoid the prick as much as I can and basically just go cruising alone, or put the whole thing off.. get my money back, and save myself a possible fight and a trip to the ships galley. What do you guys think? I really want to go because it was supposed to be my birthday present to myself; but it wasn't until just last night I realized the company I'll be having is not exactly my kind of people. I'm with Rick as well, as long as you are not sharing a cabin with him, you can easily be without his company on a cruise ship. It's your birthday present to yourself, don't let him ruin it for you. |

I have been on 25 cruises & can say that unless you are sharing a cabin with this guy there are plenty of places on any cruise ship where he will not be. Why let him ruin your birthday present. You will meet plenty of other people from all over to help take your mind off this guy. I would say go enjoy. |

I agree with the other poster. There are so many people on board that you are more than likely never going to see each other. You can request to not sit near them in the dining room if you wish and you can reserve your room away from his.
Either go on this one and ignore him or just switch ships =) Its that easy! If you switch ships then you still get to go and this guy will be somewhere else. |
