hey i went on my 3rd cruise (carnival liberty) recently and it was a blast! the sea-sickness is not all that bad it really just varies on how you handle motion sickness. i get sick sometimes but not as bad as some people. i usually just deal with it but there are patches and pills you can take to avoid getting sick. the only thing is that if your cabin is on a really low floor or near the back of the ship it will be rougher than say a cabin on deck 7 in the middle of the ship...so be careful about where you pick your cabin. as far as the activities...i don't know how old you are but i'm 17 and i found the activities to be kinda lame. i was in the 15-17 group and we had water wars and water games during the day and we had club nights at night. of course you should definitly still go to meet people but club 02 was always kinda a place for my group to meet up and we'd leave and go find something else to do. but they have a few groups i think one goes from age 10-14 and then 15-17 so the 10 year olds aren't with the high school kids.

First, there is not really any way to get rid of seasickness. What you have to do is prevent it. There are lots of different pills and patches you can use, a lot of people swear by eating ginger.

The best thing to do is go outside and look at the horizon, if you start to feel queasy. The basic cause of motion sickness is that your inner ear tells your brain that you are moving and your eyes tell it that you are not, because the room around you is staying in one place. Simply going or even looking outside so that your inner ear and eyes are in sync is enough to prevent seasickness.

As far as teen activities, most lines do a pretty good job of keeping youngsters occupied with various age-appropriate activities, but it does depend on the line. Those that cater to families, like Carnival and Royal Caribbean and Disney have more varied activities. They are all segregated into age groups, so they don't have 10 year olds and 15 year olds all doing the same stuff.

My guess is you will find others close to your own age, and have a good time, even just hanging out.

I have been on almost 20 cruises all over the world and have never gotten sea sick. You are not likely to get sea sick unless you are really sensitive to motion.
(1) All of the new ships now being built have automatic stabilizer that all but eliminate any rocking from side to side. And these newer passenger ships are so long, most 900 feet to almost 1,000 feet, that the front to back motion is also all but eliminated.
(2) Cruise ships generally move from port to port overnight, generally about 6:00 PM. You go to dinner between 6 and 8 PM, maybe go to the evening show and maybe the disco and then go to bed. And when you awake the next morning you are in a new port. So you sleep a good portion of the time when the ship is moving.
(3) Cruise ships make every effort to stay away from bad weather that would cause the ship to rock, even changing the order of port stops if weather is bad at one.
(4) There are some other options to combat sea sickness. One is a prescription from your Dr for either pills or a patch that is applies behind the ear. The best option if you don't want to be drugged is a wrist bracelet that you can purchase at boating stores. http://www.biobands.com/
(5) take with you some ginger candy or cookies; it works great for nausea. http://www.downthelane.com/store/product...

You did not say which cruise ship or cruise line you are going on but they all have programs for teens and most also have areas on the ship just for teens and a teen disco that is open until late in the evening. So you will have the opportunity to meet other teens and have a great time hanging out with them in these areas. The activities are fun.

About Sea Sickness- There's a pill that you can take that will prevent seasickness.

As for teen activities- As I have not been on a cruise before, I wouldn't know. Sorry
