Stupid question....?

I was just wondering if the cabin doors on the outside on a cruise are magnetic?

I'm going on the Norwegian Spirit if that helps.

Thanks for your help! =)

Do you want to know whether or not you can put magnets on your door? I don't know the answer, but I know where you can find out. Go to CruiseCritic.com, click on "Boards", then go to "Norwegian Cruise Lines" and do a search for "doors" or "magnets" or some such. If you don't find an answer that way, you post your question and someone will surely get back to you with the answer. You'll have to join CC to post a question, but it's free.

If you are asking about the outside door to a balcony, they are sliding glass doors. If you mean the door to an outside cabin, it is wooden or aluminium and there is a magnetic catch on the bulkhead to keep it open when the room is being cleaned etc:

I have been on the Spirit many times and the doors are not magnetic. They open & close like any door in a hotel/motel. You use your issued room key card/ ID /on board account card to open the door & the handle to exit.

I wouldn't think so, why don't you have a look when you're on board. Then you can tell all of us.
