Tattoo parlor on a carnival cruise ship? |
Next May my fiance and I will be going on a cruise along with his mother, her best friend ,his sister ,brother inlaw and their kids. For the past 2 years my finace and I have been trying to talk his mom into getting a tattoo seeing as she is always talking about ours. Well as of yesterday she informed me that she read that these is a tattoo parlor on board the Carnival Ship we will be on and she would like to get a small tattoo on her shoulder. Now I have never heard of anything like this on a ship. Im concerned about saftey and standards for this "parlor". I know this is the only time she would actually go for it so I would like to know the facts if anyone has any clue as to what they are. I really don't like the fact of going to a artist that I don't know and my fiance and I feel that we need to make sure all is well before she gets it done... I can't find anything about this on the carnival website. .... Any idea about this tattoo parlor?

i just got back from a cruise on a carnival ship this past sunday and there was no tattoo parlor. there was only an "airbrush" tattoo both. they just put a stencil on you and pretty much paint your skin. however mine came off in about 2 days. thats the only tattoo thing that they have on any of the carnival ships as far as i am aware. and if the website doesnt say anything about it then it probably isnt true! have fun on your cruise! |

What they have is a tatoo booth - and it is just those stick on tatoos that last a couple of days. I noticed that the last cruise I was on with NCL also had them. |

I have been on several Carnival ships and none have real tattoo parlors. There are temp tattoos. So I am not sure where is got her info. unless it is on a new ship. This is the first time I have heard of that on any ship. Like I said only temp tattoos. Have fun, Cruises are great. |

Ask her where she read about it. But if Carnival doesn't have it on their website as a feature of the ship you're going on, it probably isn't true, or maybe it isn't a standard thing but they sometimes have it. If it is true, it confirms everything I've heard about Carnival being the most ghetto cruise line. And you are right, I wouldn't go to an artist I didn't trust for something like that--it's akin to having surgery on a Carnival cruise line, and you wouldn't do that! |
