Teens on cruises??? |
im a 16yr old guy and im asian and filipino... how do i go about meeting other people on cruises?? the first two cruises i went on, i nvr participated in the teen activities, maybe kuz im the lone teen in the group that i go on the cruise with... i go to cruises with my parents, 2 younger siblings, and my parents friends...... dont get me wrong, i love to socialize and hang out with people, i guess i dont have someone to go with me to the teen clubs and stuff
people who go on cruises are predominately white, not much asians go on cruises... hell almost no asians go on cruises!!! maybe that cuts my confidence down muchos....
do other teens feel the same way i do?? pretty shy about meeting people at the teen clubs and end up not going and ruining ur whole cruise???
how can a teen guy like me meet people (preferably some hot chicks lol) on a cruise??? how can a cute tanned filipino guy like me (lol) meet some people on cruises?? |

you don't have to join in ALL of the teen activities but I would suggest to at least attend some of them or to go to the teen dance club at night. My 2nd cruise I went to the dance club and made a lot of friends (in one night) and then after that we would just meet up and hang out. You have to be willing to be outgoing, because if you keep to yourself no one will get to or want to get to know you. A lot of times teens are shy, nervous, or unwilling to join in the ship's activities because they think it's dumb. But honestly just go to one, meet some people, and then make plans with those people to meet at the pool deck or something like that. |

Just go to the teen activities. I'm 15 and I did not go to the teen activities because I was the only teen in my group, so I ended up hanging out with my little sister the whole time. Just go to the teen activities and be yourself, you are probably never going to see these people ever again, so it doesnt matter what they think about you. |

im a teen too. i reconmend trying to go to Alaska. Every race is equal.
if you want to meet people go during school vacation, or summmer vacation. Don't go in November or May, no one goes on those |

Get out there and socialize!! My first Cruise was when I was 16 (I'm 41 now!!) and I had a blast!! Back then the cruise ships didn't have "teen discos" and other social areas. You just had to start talking to people. Luckily there were a lot of kids taking Sr trips on my cruise, so meeting other kids my age wasn't all that hard to meet someone to hang out with. I stayed in touch with several of them for four or five years after the cruise was over!!

all teens have this thing about themselves that make them shy no matter what race you are. when you go to the pool to sit and watch others in the pool make a point of saying hi where are you from or anything to do with the pool or view than if it helps say you like that too but don't lie just be nice and your self ask if the read the bulletin that there is an show for teens at such and such time what do you think of them having shows just for us and i read such and such doesn't that sound like fun? hope to see you there cause i like that type of show or music . |
