I live in Florida, and I can tell you with certainty you will be fine
1 hurricane season is June 1- Nov 30
2 I take my cruises in Sept and am not afraid of them

We are going on a 7 day cruise in mid-November, and believe me, I am hurricane terrified. No way I'm going to be on a ship out in the middle of the ocean with monster squid lurking below just waiting for us to sink so they can eat us with their scary beaks!
The info I got also was that hurricanes are rare in November.
You can check the stats for yourself at www.noaa.org.
However, just in case, it's always a very good idea to have trip insurance, so you can get your money back if your trip is cancelled.
Also trip insurance is good for in case you get sick or hurt while on your trip. |

Hurricanes are rare in November. Looking at historical records, very few hurricanes appear, during November. Also I think that a very rare few of hurricanes even hit the Bahamas. If you are that worried about it, have you considered Travel Insurance? If you booked through a travel agent then they might have some better information on deals and insurance options. You could always ask the hotel if they have some kind of cancellation policy and see that is. I know that Atlantis would probably want to do everything in its power to make your honeymoon unforgetable. Congraduations and I hope you have a great time!!!! |

Normally you are out of hurrican season at theis time. We actally took a Western Carb cruise last year at this time and it was beautiful. If something comes up like a storm which is doubtful have other plans made. |

Why?
While November is technically part of hurricane season, there are VERY few hurricanes this time of year. If you look at histoical records, there haven't been that many storms in November.
Peak season for the Atlantic hurricane season is mid-August to September. While storms have formed after October, they are very rare. |
