We've been on 2 Disney cruises and both times, they were more than we could have ever expected in terms of quality, service, etc... We have cruised with other cruise lines and will most likely never go on any other but Disney. There's just something really magical and special about a Disney cruise. I could see my husband and I going alone when our children are all grown up!

I've been on Disney once and Royal Caribbean once also, I like them both for different reasons. Disney was more geared towards families and had wonderful shows, also there weren't a lot of extra charges. On Royal Caribbean there was a ton to do after 9 o'clock, but that doesn't work with kids. Also RC has hidden fees, like you have to pay for sodas and other stuff, where sodas were free on Disney. But Royal Caribbean has more shopping. I'll leave it up to you to decide which one is best, but I loved Disney.

My wife myself and three young children just came back in june it was the best time i think we have ever had. so much fun that my wife just booked a 11 night disney cruise in europe. Costly yes but worth every penny. Just DON'T get off the boat in Nassau waste of time.

I work on Cruise ships, but not Disney, so can't comment, but is it really important what other people think! The question you should ask yourself is did I enjoy my times on there, if so you're happy, end of story. But there is always the option of trying a couple of others to see for your self.

I was very happy with the cruise line, but I went when I was a teenager. I'm sure it would have been a lot more fun if I went when I was much younger because of the character signings and the atmosphere. At least in the parks there are rides that are fun for all ages, but there's only just the water slide on the ship which is still swarmed with little kids.
But as far as the cruise line staff and accommodations I was impressed.

I have never been on a disney cruise but have been on others. Im sure Disney is a fantastic cruiseline, since they do everything great (25 plus visits to WDW). But like everything else you will find people who hate it (too many kids, no casino) and people who love it. I love carnival but you will find many people who cant stand it. What it comes down to is Do YOU love it? thats really the only guage for if its a great vacation, Do YOU find it worth your time and cash
