No, however, tipping the bartender or server a dollar is quite common. |

No, tips are extra and you usually give them at the end of your trip to the people you think have given you good service, like the waiter on your table, cabin stewards, etc. |

your gratuites and tips already paid. I would ask the travel agent what that includes.
Be aware however that the cruise lines specify that anything bought from the bar has an AUTOMATIC 15% tip included in its price
have a great time on your cruise. |

Usually 15% is added to all drink orders automatically |

The short answer to your question is yes.
The prepaid gratuities are for the Maitre'd, your table waiter, the assistant waiter, your stateroom steward and probably a few other people who are included but you never see.
The 15% service charge is added automatically to every drink you get from a bar, whether it is alcoholic, soft or speciality coffees.
You can decide not to have the prepaid option and just tip those who actually do look after you, but you have no choice over the 15% added to you bar bills, everybody pays that. |

No. Most cruise lines don't have money transactions on board. You sign for everything and then settle up at the end. We always tip our favourite waiter and room steward at the end even if tips are included in the price. Have a great time. We love cruising. |

I would bring it just in case. You really shouldn't need to. But if it is exceptional, you might want to. Especially the last day of the cruise. |

Maybe. When you purchase a drink you'll receive a receipt which you can pay for with cash or charge to your room. The gratuity may already be included, but if it is not, the gratuity will be at your discretion. |

Pre-paid gratuities normally do not cover tips for drinks. |

No if it is included but you may want to save some for a tip at the end if they give great service they generally do. |

"Have to"? No. Should you? If the service is good, I'd say yes. The better you are to the servers on the cruise, the better they are to you. And, remember, these folks aren't making a ton of money working on the boats either. |
