I like the Fantasy. It's big enough to have most of the bells and whistles that the newer mega ships have but still small enough to be easy to get around. They do a good job keeping the ships in good shape.

Carnival does great upkeep on thier ships. I have not been on the Fantasy but when in port a few weeks ago we were docked next to her and she looked fantastic. have fun

It will depend on the company how they care about the passenger safety, needs, and entertainment.
Next time you go for a cruise try NCL'Norwegian Cruise Line'
they have good itinerary, freestyle dining and giving good entertainment and good staff serving you.
But one of the most important thing about them they have a Safety officer taking care of you while you are sleeping (medical teams, Firefighter and Safety Manager)
It also will also depend on the Itinerary if they have rough sea but you will enjoy for sure.
