I would go with Carnival, with the family size, they have the largest stateroom, and you can do 5 in one room with 2 upper berths and a roll away you would manage, but be crowded. there are adjoining rooms (if possible) this would be best. we go on family vacations with the 4 of us 2 adults and 2 boys (11 and 13) and we do well, but we only sleep and change in the room. If you call Carnival direct they can help you with the rooms.

the cost will very to when the trip is and how far ahead you book it. as well as what class room you take.

there is a lot for eveyone to do and Camp Carnival is great for the kids.

Get some quotes from several travel agents or go to the inter net there are many deals to be had there.

Search for familyfungo.com. Hotels.com any of that sort of stuff.

I would recommend Carnival as they would be the cheapest, and unless you get a family sweet that could accommodate 7 people you are going to have to book two rooms. One you could have as an oceanview for you and the other adult and then the two smallest children and then book an inside cabin right across the hall for the two teens and the 11 year old as they have two beads and an upper berth that they could sleep on. I hope that helps. If you need any more help with tips or prices contact me thru email.

I suggest you call Carnival direct. They always get me the best price, and they would have the best info for your needs. Their vacation planners do not work on commission, so they are more concerned about you being happy. A three night cruise on the Fascination has a broad range of prices, depending on the time of year. Summer is the peak season, so it will be considerable more expensive. We always cruise in Sept or Dec. It is a lot cheaper then. For example, I booked a seven day Western Caribbean cruise for $399 each in Sept. It is over $600 now, but I booked it las January. Early booking gets you the best price. You could try to get a last minute deal, but I doubt you would be able to with your situation. In the summer, the ships are almost always filled early.

You can choose from 2 cruise lines Carnival Cruise Lines or Royal Caribbean International. Both are departing from Miami, FL for 3 nights. Carnival Fascination is the ship for Carnival Cruise Lines. They have 2 children's playrooms, an outdoor pool for children, and "Camp Carnival," a complimentary fleetwide children's program hosting 175,000 kids a year. And, Carnival is so confident that guests will have a great time that it offers the industry's only Vacation Guarantee.
The prices range from $309-$649 for an interior cabin, $329-$699 for an oceanview cabin, and $569-$769 for a suite. Each cabin is double occupancy. The 2 adults would love the suite!

Majesty of the Seas is the Royal Caribbean ship. Their prices range from $270-464 for an interior cabin, $279-$609 for an oceanview cabin, and $649-$1249 for a suite.

The children may enjoy the Carnival Cruise Line a lot more than Royal Caribbean because their are more activities for young children and teens on their ships.

May the light, unconditional love, prosperity, peace and abundance that resides within you guide you to the answers you seek.

Sorry barbie doll, cant help u there.
But i know, bahamas is over rated!!!
Im the biggest beautiful/island fan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and i can tell you for sure bahamas, hawaii and many more are too expensive!!, From many, i heard u can find better places, for cheaper prices.
Since its a family decision and already planned...sorry cant help u there.
I prefer exotic places far, far, far from US.
But everyone has their own taste. All i heard about bahamas the scenary was nice, but the service was $hit!!
Good luck

carnival has the best rates.... i am taking my whole family to the turks and the bahamas for 6 days from miami for 1,200 for 7 people. i would just go on travelocity and do cruise search and search by how many days etc.. you want to go and they will list all cruise lines and their prices. you can go on a 3 day carnival one for 179$ a person. your food is included but you have to pay for soda(juice and fruit punch are free) and usually a 10$ a day tip per person (so in your case about 120$ for tips). if i were you try to book a cruise to key west instead the bahamas is dirty except for atlantis

DO NOT GO WITH A TRAVEL AGENCY they will charge you and will not help you to all of your needs. but unfortunately age doesn't matter the 3 and 2 year old I'm unsure of, but a Cruise would cost around 549 dollars each person. the flight is what makes it so expensive so i would suggest not booking your flight with the cruise line but separate and just fly in on separate air fair a day early in case of a delay and you never book your flight close to the departure time of the ship i would suggest sky bus for the airline, it's a comfortable flight and can range from 10-80 dollars depending on when you book the flight. and royal Caribbean is a great cruise line, the Nassau, coco cay(it's a private island owned by the cruise line), and key west cruise is amazing but it is 5 days. also remember you can fit 4 people in a room, and meals are included but sodas and specialty drinks cost money. they do have a special package you'd want to look into for the soda, and leave extra room in your suitcases for souvenirs because you don't want to bring them on the plane. hope you have fun.
