What's a nice cruise line for a 3 day trip?

i would start by deciding how much your willing to spend. they're are many cruise lines, especially ones that will take you to the bahamas. if your looking to spend a glamorous weekend out Norwegian cruise lines have many options available. or if you and the girls wanna be silly and live like kids, Disney Cruise Lines is the way to go. and they're not too expensive either. try a yahoo search for cruises and you'll be amazed at what comes up. but i would definitely decide how much your willing to spend because between deciding on what kind of room you want and how far you'll travel they're are many options available. i would suggest disney. they're website is disneycruiselines.com check it out. i think they depart from castaway cay if you know where that is... i hope i was helpful. happy cruising!!!

Royal Caribbean's Majesty of the Seas does a Friday to Monday out of Miami. It goes to the Bahamas and Coco Cay. I was a first time cruiser and did it and it was perfect. It was wonderful!

The only bad experience I have had is with NCL. They seemed to be exceptionally greedy and indifferent to passenger issues.

This IS hurricane season. As long as you think about it ahead of time, realize that hurricanes can cause changes in itinerary (even dropped ports) and seas rougher than the ship's stabilizers can fully handle, and are willing to put up with that, you should be OK.

Make sure you buy some good travel insurance - and don't buy it from the cruise line. Avoid conflicts of interest by getting it independently. Lots of things can happen in addition to those caused by hurricanes. Of the options you'll see, I like TravelGuard better. They are the industry leader for good reason.

Carnival has a cruise that leaves from Port Canaveral Thursday and returns Sunday going to the Bahamas. Im going next weekend.

Bahamas would be nice short trip. Also, look at 3 day to Key West or Cozumel, Mexico. Just do some on-line searching and see what comes up for date you have in mind. Also, recommend travel insurance thru insuremytrip.com to cover medical. Also, told they now sell hurricane ins. rather cheap -- check into that. Otherwise, have a great cruise!

Princess cruises is a good line. Carnival is also good, but more of a party line.

If you are only planning on doing a 3 day cruise, you are limited to CCL Sensation and the Facination or the RCCL SOS or MOS. Both CCL and RCCL has a ship that leaves out of Canaveral. You should be happy on eithor line. The 3 day cruises are pretty similar. The main difference is that on the 3 day cruises, the RCCL ships go to their private island, coco cay which is fantastic as well as Nassau. The CCL ships have a long stay in Nassau and may go to freeport. The CCL 4 day cruises hit their private island.

The carnival sensation does a Thursday - Sunday Sailing from Port Canaveral. The Carnival ships are geared towards lots of fun, the do games on board ship, the waiters dance in the dining rooms for entertainment, neon lights and lots of "fun" colors in the decor.
The Royal Caribbean Sovereign of the Seas does a Friday to Monday sailing. This ship is more for the customer service, they have rock climbing walls, and are very personable. They don't do the dancing in the dining rooms, but they are known for the food, and service, their decor is brass and recessed lights. I would rather be on a cruise ship during a hurricane than on land. The reason is the ships are responsible for 2-3,000 people. They are going to go around any bad weather. I have been on many cruises during hurricanes, and the weather was beautiful, I was at sea enjoying myself, while back on the in lands they were being hit hard. During Hurricane season, I recommend cruises over going to an island and staying. Because if it does come a hurricane, and you are on an island, where are you going to go? your vacation is ruined. On a ship, you will never know there is a hurricane. Have fun.
