We were just there and we swam/fed sting rays on an island excursion. Very fun and interesting. We have also been to visit the Atlantis hotel. It is a beautiful place that the kids will enjoy. You can pay a fee to use their services like the pool and lazy river, otherwise, you can just stroll on their property. There is a large aquarium that is housed in a man made cave and it goes underground so the fish/sharks are actually swimming all around you. Another choice would be to swim with the dolphins. You can choose just the kids to do the actual swim and you can pay 30 to 35 to observe... that will include the transportation to the site. In Nassau there is a pirates museum. Very neat, esp if your kids like pirates. |

Visit the Ardastra Zoo in Nassau, where you can get up close to the animals. You can feed the parrots, and they have a cute little flamingo show. |

BEACHES and very clear water! Go on a glass bottom boat tour. Go down to the dock and look at cruise ships, get your hair braided, get T-shirts that change color in the sun. EAT! Nassau is better than Freeport just because it's bigger. Look on the net for each of these cities and it will list different activites. |

stay on the boat in nassau, thats the best thing you can do! all the town people will follow you goin "hey beautiful I braid yo haaaair fo 40 dollaaa"
but if u have to i hear the glass bottom boat ride is pretty neat. the big flea market is ok but the people block you in tryin to force a sale it might scare your kids. go to Paradise Island (atlantis) and see the big aquarium, its actually pretty nice. |
