What's the best cruise line for teenagers (high school seniors) to go on for spring break?

I'm mostly deciding between Royal Caribbean and the Norwegian lines

There are age requirements. If you are under 21 (I'm assuming that you are, as you are in high school) than you will need one person in your cabin to be at least 21 for both Royal Caribbean and Norwegian. Both are really good lines, and you'll have fun if you choose either of these.

Other posters suggested Carnival - but they require at least one person in the cabin be 25 if anyone in the cabin is under 21.

I would personally suggest Carnival Cruise Lines or Royal Caribbean. Also, I recommend going on a large ship with lots of amenities. You can book a group rate and get poeple to go for free (maybe your chaperones that you will need because you are under 21). You also get extra amenities like photo coupons, onboard credits, etc. when booking through a group. When booking a group you pay a minimal deposit upfront and pay out the normal deposit and pay out the rest of the cruise. This is a great way to go. I have spoken to other Senior Class Trips that went on cruises and they loved them. I am a Cruise Specialist & Travel Agent who specializes in Group Bookings. If you have any questions or concerns or if you would like to book a group feel free to send me an email on Yanswers and then we can get more info to find the perfect cruise ship and itinerary for the Senior Class.

Someone stated earlier that if you are under 21 then you have to have an adult over the age of 25 sharing a stateroom. This is true regarding individual bookings. However, different rules apply to Group Bookings. You will not have to have an adult in every room. You will just have to sign a waivier and have a certain amount of adults that are supervisors to your group. A group is definately the way to go. And you can get free cruisers with as little as 8 cabins sold (sometimes less).

I've been on 3 Royal Caribbean cruises and I loved them all. The staff is really nice and you can find really good deals. They have a ton of fun activities. I suggest karaoke. It is really entertaining to watch drunk people sing. They also have dancing late at night so there won't be any kids there. Whatever cruise line you choose, you will have fun because you can do your own thing.

I would say Royal Caribbean i'm assuming since your 18 you can gamble at the casino but I don't know about drinking it was 21 on the Carnival lines, you should have a really good time regardless of which one you choose.

TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only
I have been on many cruises with several different cruise lines and my advice is the best cruise line to go on with kids is Royal Caribbean. It has the most on-board activities for kids and the other cruise lines cannot compare. Royal Caribbean is also a cruise line that caters to young cruiser and families. It has things like ice skating, roller blade-ing, mini-golf course, a full sized basketball/tennis court, the rock climbing wall, and on the new Freedom Class ships the surfing simulator, the Flowrider. It has an area on its ships called Adventure Ocean (which is totally free) which has programs for kids of all ages between 3 and 17. It has a special teen disco area that is open until 2:00AM each evening. The RC ships that you should look for cruises on are the RC's Freedom Class and Voyager Class ships. You can look at the features of these ships on these two web links:

Freedom Class:

Voyager Class:

After Royal Caribbean the next best would be Carnival. Carnival is the budget cruise line that generally has the lowest prices. They cater to young people, first time cruiser and families. The best of their ships are their newer ships so do pay attention to when the ship was launched is you find a really cheap cruise.

Whichever one your parents decide to take you on. You won't be able to go alone; the cruise lines all have age requirements [usually at least 21] to travel without adult supervision. The cruise lines don't want under-age kids on spring break ruining vacations for the rest of their passengers. It's happened in the past, which is why they now have age restrictions.

If I were you, I'd look at the Carnival Line cruises as they're known for party cruising. The Norwegian line may be a good alternative if they have informal dining at all the meals. Royal Caribbean is great but caters to older adults.

I think you'd like Celebrity and their modern ships. Lots of fun for teens/young adults.

go for carnival...royal is full of kiddies and familys, NCL is more for 30-45 year olds, and princess is for 60 and plus so you smell pee and bump into walkers lol

I have been on a carnival, norwegian, and royal caribbean cruise, and out of all i would reccomend Royal Carribean.
I went for my senior year spring break and it was awesome...

Pluuuus they are alot more lenient than most with alcohol, if your interested :)
