I've been on six cruises. Two with NCL, two with Princess and two with Celebrity.
Celebrity has been the favorite so far, great food, very nice ships (I sailed on the Millinium and the Constellation ).
Princess wasn't too bad, sailed the Diamond Princess, nice ship OK service. The food was soso compared to Celebrity.
Also sailed on the Star Princess the week it caught on fire between Grand Caymen and Montego Bay, Jamaica in March,2006. The crew did a great job during the fire keeping everybody calm. Unfortunately we were pretty much kicked off the boat at 6AM the next morning with plane tickets. They did refund our Cruise and gave 25% off our next cruise with them (which I thought was chinzy compared to what other lines give passengers when a catastrophy at sea happens).
NCL was our first two cruises, they were older ships (Skyward and Norway). The Norway was a fantastic old vessel that was the largest of it's era in the day.
I hear RCCL is very nice also, they a sister line to Celebrity.

My very first cruise was the best.I have been on 6 since so I am hooked on cruising but I loved everything about the first. We took the Carnival Triumph out of Miami. we flew into Ft Lauderdale and rented a car. Our stops were San Juan, which was ok and very disappointing to my daughter who expected West Side Story. St Thomas was so beautiful, we learned to snorkel off a catamaran ( Castaway Girl) and shopped in the town. St. Maarten was nice, we took a See and Sea tour which was cool. Our whole family had a great time, loved the boat and services. The staff was wonderful, especially to our 11 year old, she told the water she liked the black dots on her seafood appitiser and he brought her a small bowl of it (cavier). I have loved all my cruises but this was the best.

I have been on RCCL, never been on any other cruiseline...5 with RCCL and no intention of going to anyone else. Royal Caribbean has much to offer for any and all ages, entertainment is excellent! I've never been bored. Ports of Call have bee great, shore excursions are amazing! I just love them. The ships are gorgeous and celaner than the average hotel...and kept clean.

Plus, what I have heard of other cruiselines make me want to stick to RCCL. People I know who have been on RCCL have nothing good to say about Carnival or Norwegian. I heard Dinsey is nice though. Once you go on one cruiseline, you start comparing when you go on another...and I don't want to do that, I'm perfectly happy with Royal Caribbean.

carnival... hands down

Ive been on 26 cruises 5 different cruise lines and Carnival is the one I go back to.. Its cheaper (typically) and funner the people who go on carnival seem to want to have fun. Other lines the people seem much more snobbish. Is snobbish a word??? Oh well you know what I mean..

?
I've cruised with NCL (Norwegian Cruise Line) twice already. Went on a 14 day cruise to Caribbean two & a half years ago & 7 day cruise to Alaska (which I recommend) last Sept. I like their freestlye cruising, I think they're the only cruise line who does that. I've also cruised with Royal Caribbean (short cruise to Encinada). With NCL you can do anything you want, like eat dinner anytime, & you don't have to eat with the same people every time. I also like their shows, entertainment & restaurants. Good luck & have fun on your cruise.

I've been on numerous cruises, on different cruise lines, Norwegian, Carnival, Celebrity, and Costa. From my own personal experience I love Celebrity Cruise lines, because they are nice, luxury ships, with an awesome atmosphere. I also love Carnival because of the atmosphere, and how you can just be free and be a kid again. I've also heard that Royal Caribbean is also a great cruise line, and I have yet to go on one of their ships, but the rock climbing walls, and the surf rider, look really amazing, and I would love to experience that. Costa was okay, but I just found there cruise to not be as great as others, even though we got an amazing deal on a balcony. Norwegian was okay, but we went on an older ship, and it wasnt kept up as well, but I still loved the food, and havent been on one in quite a while. I've mostly been on Celebrity, and they give you amazing deals, we got a free uprgrade, to a balcony, for the price of an oceanview plus discounts for sailing with them before, on a 7 night crusie, we didnt even know about it, until we got our luggage tags, we were so shocked, and our room was amazing.

eric the great
I've been on 8 cruises with Princess. They exceed all my expectations about what a cruise should be like. Their ship are elegant, but not over the top. Food and entertainment is tops. They are upper middle class, not too expensive and not too party type. I will continue with Princess because I have no reason to look elsewhere.

I have cruised carnival and royal caribbean, and royal caribbean is definitely better. They have a lot of activities on the ship, so there is never a problem staying entertained. The service and food are excellent as is the entertainment. They also offer really good ports of call. On rccl you really get your monies worth.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you want party, then Carnival. The best food is Crystal or Royal Carribean. Norwegian is kinda in the middle with a lower median age than Crystal or RCCL, but the food is just barely a step lower. If you want to dine like you would on a land vacation, go with Norwegian. The best prices are usually had on Carnival. I personally like Norwegian. I have found great deals to sail with them, and I love the different restaurants you can go to on their ships. What ever you choose, you're going to have a great time! Good Luck.

I've only cruised with Carnival. And I have never been disappointed with them. I've looked into cruising other lines but when I compare prices I always come back to Carnival....
