What's the best cruise ship to go on?

Doesn't matter where it travels to but I would like a fun ship, with a big pool and water slide, freestyle dining (where you can go to a reasturant anytime you want) not traditional dining, or a cruise ship that has good entertainment. Or if the excursions you go on at land that are truly exciting and adventurous tell me about it!!!

I've only been on one cruise ship and that was NCL. They were all around good food and entertainment but their excursions were really fun!!! I was at Hawaii and I did a beautiful fern grotto tour, a lava hiking tour to see lava up close (very HOT) in Kilauea, down hill bicycle ride on Mt. Haleakala in Maui, took a tour at Pearl Harbor, toured a submarine, the USS Arizona (sad but cool sunken ship), and walked around the USS Missouri, and other kewl stuff!

The only line that offers true Freestyle DIning is Norwegian, but their food isn't as good as the other lines.

On any of the cruise lines, you don't HAVE to eat in the dining room at your set time. Most have multiple buffets, restaurants, and room service. Some people don't eat in the Dining Room the whole time they are onboard.

If you truly want a fun ship, I'd go with Royal Caribbean. The bigger ships have more restaurants so that you don't have to eat in the Dining Room at all.

Carnival is know as the fun ships and they are; check out some of the cruise lines web sites and see which ones meet your criteria.

I have never actually been on a cruise but I have a friend that has been on several cruises, he always chooses Carnival. I'v'e never heard and thing negative about them. I Bet you would be safe with this choice.

:D

Even though I havent been on several different ones, i'd most deffinatly have to say disney cruise line. It isnt babyish at all. & It describes ALL your needs. You'd have a blast!

Well, I've been on a few different cruise lines, and I have to say that Celebrity is the best. Their food is to die for, the ships are beautiful and the staff is exceptional. Royal Caribbean was second best. That one is more geared toward younger folks. I wouldn't recommend Norwegian, although they do have the Freestyle cruising (dining). Their food wasn't very good. Carnival is known for it's party atmosphere (read: drunk people). You can find out more by visiting each website.
