Just take it.... I have never had a problem.... Wine is ok anyway, they allow wine. If your worried about just taking it put it in a soda bottle.... Be sure the color matches..

This tip is intended to give you the best bang (or is it buzz?) for your buck. First of all, buy a bottle of Bacardi 151 (that's rum with 75% alcohol), and a 2-liter Coke bottle. The rum bottle holds 750 mL, so pour out that amount of Coke into another container.

Pour the rum into the Coke bottle, using a funnel to eliminate spills, until the it's full. If the color looks too light, pour out a little bit of the mixture (drink it later that night), and put some of the poured-out Coke back into the bottle. Screw on the lid tightly, to make sure the bottle looks unopened. Pack it into your suit case, *not* in your carry-on (see other threads for explanation), and look forward to feeling buzzed onboard the ship. Keep in mind that your "Coke" will be very strong, so drink the right amount.

Why do I feel so strongly about it? Because I'm very much against price gouging. Whether it's done by oil companies at your local gas station, or by cruise lines at their bars, it's the same thing. And you have the power to fight it!

Best not to. If they find it, they will confiscate it. They could also refuse to let you board with no refund, or even worse, debark you at a foreign port, and you have to find your own way home.

Okay . Open a water bottle, but only the cap. Not the thing below the cap. Then fill it with colorless alcohol. Seal it tightly and put it in your suitcase inside a shoebox or maybe wrapped in some clothes.

there are plenty of ways to smuggle booze. i thouhgt about this as well but decided against it. honestly, you wont need too. you will have way too much fun. on the days when you at a port, you be up really early for your excursions. besides, brings aren't THAT expensive on board. just suck it up and pay the 5dollars. just dont oreder call drinks (like, ketel one or grey goose.) i did that and my drink was 10dollars!!

You don't need to "smuggle" it on board, just put a pint or 2 in your luggage. Keep it in the cabinet beside your hotel safe. Even if the cabin steward would see it. He's unlikely to worry about it. Cruise lines are there to treat you as best as they know how, hoping to have you back in the future. They aren't going to make a fuss about something like that. Besides, almost everyone brings some alcohol on board. And yes, if you buy something on some island, I'd certainly put it in a soda bottle. The people working on the ship aren't stupid. They have been there for many months, even years and know how tourists think!! They probably were one once!!! Oh, if you forget to bring Tobasco sause, they have it in the lido deck restaraunt and room service is included. Also, the lemonaide machine up on the lido deck is available 24 hours a day, so mixing material is never a problem, but keep in mind unless you get a Fountain Club card, sodas are $2.01 with gratuity, so you might want to bring a few cans along as well, but I'd Zip-Loc them. I had one get punctured during flight once and had to wash out a few tee shirts in the shower. Bon Voyage!!

i spy...
ooo!! oo!! ooo!! you don't. cruises are fun enough without you getting drunk and jumping overboard.

don't smuggle if you get caught they will not let you on board and keep all your money that you paid for your ticket , buy it on board providing you are old enough and you will not have to pay taxes it is all duty free. It is all really cheap too. You'll have alot of fun without drinking, be careful if you do, not to fall overboard.SERIOUSLY

Cappagirl
Don't be stupid....do you want to be stuck at some port just because you wanted to smuggle booze? Seriously!
NOT WORTH IT!
Don't you want to remember your vacation anyway? Have a couple on the ship and pay like everyone else...
