Cruise lines can be divided into three groups. The family friendly lines (attract families and people who want to be active 24 hours per day), the premium lines (a step above the family friendly lines, but still affordable - these passengers are looking more for mental activities rather than physical activities) and luxury lines (high price, service oriented five star lines).

Family friendly ...
Carnival, Disney, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean
Costa (owned by Carnival) would fit into this group. Costa is an Italian line. MSC (also an Italian line) would also fit into this group. Also in this group would be Star Cruises (an Asian company). Star owns Norwegian.

Premium ...
Celebrity, Holland America Line and Princess

Luxury ...
Crystal, Regent Seven Seas, Seabourn, and Silversea
Cunard (owned by Carnival) would fit into this group. Cunard is an English line.

Five local friends founded Nautical Cruise Lines in 1987. They were all very young, ambitious, licensed Captains with a great love for boats and the sea. They built their first yacht themselves, with each partner contributing their own unique trade. To this day, it is “all hands on deck” as the owners take part in all aspects of the business. The web site is http://www.nauticalcruiselines.com the partners work 6-7 days a week to make sure everything is carried out in an exceptional fashion. Both friends and partners alike, they have found a perfect chemistry to create an ideal atmosphere of five star cuisine and impeccable service whether it be a wedding on Long Island, a birthday party, sweet 16 or any other affair it will be a most memorable event. Each year they elect to invest most of their proceeds back into their yachts, truly keeping them in “ship shape.” You can check out their blog at http://www.nauticalcruiselines.blogspot.com and also their wordpress account at http://www.nauticalcruiselines.wordpress.com and yes they are on myspace at http://www.myspace.com/nauticalcruise. Let our hard, dedicated work benefit you as you enjoy the ambiance, cuisine and breathtaking views only available at Nautical Cruise Lines.
