There are two main choices for party cruises:
Carnival & Windjammer Barefoot.
Carnival still has a very festive atmosphere, though NOTHING like the old days, when Carnival cruises were little more than massive floating keggers.
Windjammer Barefoot cruises have some pretty party hardy crowds that return year after year. These are cruises on sail vessels, & the line is renowned for it's...uh...party atmosphere.
Outside of those two, if you're goal is pretty much to party, drink & the usual hijinks, then your best bet might be to head to someplace like Florida or the Bahamas, stay at an oceanfront resort & head out on booze cruises or the like.

carnival is definitely the best party cruise. Go during the college vacations. I've been 3 times and it is the best. |

Carnival. They have alcohol, partying, and young people all over. It wasn't my scene though so I hated it. |

Carnival is your best bet. Cheap party boat. Royal Caribbean is too mature for you. |

get with an agent and tell him what you are looking for. There are cruises that cater to everyone. If you take a random cruise, you will be dealing with lots of old folks and kiddies. |

If your young and want to party...Carnival is the way to go. Most of the other cruise ship companies are geared towards families and older couples.
