All-inclusive appears on most of the cruise lines, BUT if you really think that eating and drinking are big matters on your vacation - believe me, take the Norweigian Cruise Lines; they have BUFFETS all-u-can-eat all day long while other cruise lines you have to wait to be served at certain times (if you missed it, oh boys, you will be very upset!)

The only cruise line that I know of that is all-inclusive is Silverseas. It is probably the most expensive cruise line, too.

All the other cruise lines are not all-inclusive but most things are included.

The only extras you normallly pay for on a cruise are alcoholic drinks, most soft drinks, excursions, gambling and bingo, and tips to the staff.

Meals and evening entertainment are included in the price.

Cruises are a very good travel bargain when you consider you get room, meals, and entertainment all included for one price.

You could also check out the Yachts of Seabourne. However, you could be looking at well over $2000 for each person.

The only true all inclusive lines are Crystal, Regent Seven Seas and Silverseas. Included in their prices is tips AND alcohol.

Oceania doesn't include alcohol.

These are all luxury lines, and you will pay a premium to sail on them. However, the service and atmosphere are truly a cut above anything offered by any other cruise line.

Beware, these are not lines that cater to families. While some do offer kids programs, the average passenger age on the luxury lines is over 50...

Regent Seven Sea is the only one I am familiar with. It is truly all inclusive. I been on all of their ships and I can give them nothing but the highest marks.

Crystal is supposed to be very good as well. But I don't think it's all inclusive. Tips are expected. I could be wrong about that though.

I took a Royal Caribbean cruise that was all inclusive except for liquor or beer and tips to the room attendant at the end of the cruise. It was one week and I enjoyed it. You also paid for things booked separately like side trips, massages, etc.

all of the cruises include food and activities, you have to just pay for your liquor. Carnival or Norwegian are both excellent.

None are real all inclusive. All inclusive in the resort definiton includes room taxes tips all food and beverages (alcoholic and non alcoholic, and water sports and various enterainment and activities. In a cruise you will pay for in advance cabin, port taxes, transfers from airport to ship. Some cruislines are now adding tips to your on board account ( the account you get when you check in. This needs to secured with a credit card, debit card, or cash.) What they don't want you to know is that you can refuse to have this service fee or tips added to your account, or ask for them to removed if the service is not to your liking. You will have to pay for alcoholic drinks and sodas on your own. Norwegian has restaurants that require a cover if you want to eat there. They also have dessert and ice cream parlors you have to pay out of pocket.
Carnival which is reaonably priced provided juices and teas. Also you can order room service at most llines which there are juices. If you go to the main buffet and restaurants you will only find tap water,not bottled, for free. (of course they want you to buy drinks). I personally like Royal Caribbean. Oh yeah all the cruise lines provide free entertainment shows and activities. RC has alot of activities. Ice skating/rock climbing.

Carnival Cruise is all-inclusive. We went for 7 days to the Bahamas and we ate as much as we wanted and participated in most activities (clubbing, sports, etc) and had room service tons of times and it was all included in the price.

Things that are NOT included are:
Pop and alcohol (although you can buy a card for around $20 that provides you with unlimited pop, and I believe for a higher price you can get one for alcohol as well)
Anything in the gift shop
Anything outside of the ship (once you stop at the islands)

Also, you should know the pools on the ship are salt water and can burn little ones eyes, so if you're taking any young children I suggest having them wear goggles. And even though it's more expensive, you should definitely opt for an exterior room with a window view. I've gone on two cruises in my life actually, one in the interior room and one in the exterior room, and while it is quite a bit cheaper we were very sorry we did because it was so small it felt like a closet and you couldn't even tell you were on a boat!
