What do you know about Costa Cruises?

My friends and I are considering going on one for spring break and I was just wondering how it compares to other cruise lines. I have been on Norwegian, Royal, and Carnival and I hope it's no worse than Carnival.

Costa, although part of the Carnival group, is marketed specifically for the European cruiser, and everything is aimed at that group, entertainment, cuisine, activities etc: It is a good cruise line and they are in the process of modernising their fleet.
Visit www.cruisecritic.com for comments from past Costa cruisers and reviews.

It is owned by Carnival. The ships are pretty much the same. Costa though is more 'european' flavored.

You can go to Cruisecritic.com and click on "Reviews" and read comments from past guests. You could also click on "Boards", then "Costa" to find lots of info.

Be aware, however, that you may not be old enough to cruise with a group of friends. On many lines, passengers must be over 21 [over 25 on Carnival] or have an adult in the stateroom. The cruise lines do this to avoid "Spring Break" crowds and the behavior that often results with this age group.
