What do you love most about a cruise?

I've personally never been on one, and was just wondering what everyone most loves to do while on-board or in port.
Additional Details
Indeed! :) I meant though, what do you most like to DO? Just relax?

i like just beening out in the middle of nowhere at night. at night you can see every star in the sky and it is pitch black. sit out on the deck and just stare at them. also there is all the pampering in the world. free food. the experience of going to different countries and seeing how different people live.

Relaxing, and not feeling like you're travelling to get to your destination, because there is so much to do onboard the ship. It beats driving and flying...its just so much more fun. Then, a couple days later, you wake up and you're at your destination....and can have fun off the ship. Its great!

Crusies are great because you can do so many things. They have things for every age. Almost everything is free. Everyone is nice. Its like a town in water. All of that with a great ocean view!

I love everything about a cruise. They are amazing vacations. One good thing is that you get to go to many different places or countries with in a matter of days. The food is also amazing. You also don't have to worry about anything. It is care free. I am only 13 and we are going on 4th cruise on July 6th and I'll turn 14 on July 7th. I am sooo excited. I recommend Royal Caribbean. They are the best.

Hi;
I have been on over 20 cruises all to Alaska & still enjoy see the scenery, wildlife & each port of call. But, also meeting new people from all over the world. In ports of call I like to tour the shops & see people that were there on the last cruise plus, exploring on my own to find new things. Always something new. On the ship they plan many & different activities each day. I also enjoy watching people. Plus, being on a cruise you meet people from all walks of life plus, the crew so you always have the chance to learn something new & share your experiences with someone new. No matter if you go to enjoy the cruise or see certain ports for me cruising is the very BEST way for a vacation.
Thanks for allowing me to share.

I have been on 4 cruises, and I highly recommend it to everyone I speak to. I love the feeling of being on the ocean, totally carefree and the isolation from the mainland. There is something onboard for everybody, young and old. You are fed well, and pampered everyday by staff. It's also a holiday that you can quite easily do alone, as you make so many friends from the first night, some who will remain life-long! P&O is who I cruised with every time.. Love It!

There is a newsletter that is slipped under your door every evening. It lists all of the activities for the next day. There are so many you can't do them all. You can:
Swim
Sunbathe
Gamble
work out
play trivia games
attend a lecture
go to a broadway style show
see the comedian and/or magician
dance to the bands
drink
eat
go ashore to visit a new place
check out a book at the library
take a nap
see a movie
and the list goes on.

Everything - it's really hard to just pick one thing! I guess I have to say that my favorite is being in the middle of nowhere...I love the feeling of not seeing land. The ships offer so many things to do - there's never a dull moment.

Awesome food, gambling, meeting people, cool ports. Most cabins are not much bigger than a walk-in in closet with an added bathroom. But it is OK because you will only be there for sleeping!

party all the time and no chance for a DUI.......

It's completely carefree...you have always thing to do in the ship in case you don't want to get out where it ports (who wouldn't anyway is my question...), the food is AWESOME...I went on my first one on my honeymoon, and I just planed our second cruise after 3 years...
There are pools, shows (type vegas and stand up comedy), cinemas, casinos, lounges and bars, fitness clubs, great places to take walks on...(even if you want to splur you can go the spa)
I completely recommend it.
