Oh my gosh take the cruise and you can still get all fancy on formal night in fact they will even let you dress up two nights during a 7 night cruise. I think the cruise will also be nice cause your entire family will get to enjoy the trip and if all your friends are planning their own parties then you will have a chance to dress up then too. After several parties you will probably have had enough. With a cruise you will be able to have so many experiences from different foods, people and ports. Not to mention all the things on board you get to do. So enjoy your friends parties and take them up on the offer to cruise. Sounds like your mom could use a nice vacation too. Hope you pick the cruise. Enjoy!

Take the cruise!!! They are SOOO much fun for the whole family! I loved the teen areas on our cruise and that was on royal Caribbean. And my parents and little siblings had an amazing time too!!! I would so take the cruise. It lasts 5-7 days!! And you can celebrate it with your family while meeting other teens from around the country. On ours there was 2 boys from England and a boy from Sweden. We all had so much fun and I wouldn't trade it for the world it was awesome!! i would take the cruise! Its better for the whole family and maybe your dad can "escort" you to the formal night. Its where everyone gets dressed up and you have a realyly nice meal and stuff. So maybe your dad could do something special on that night.I hope you have fun and have a great night with whatever you choose! I would choose the cruise in a heartbeat because I know that my family wouldn't regret it as I am sure that your family won't either!

I was in the same situation.. ;)
i had to choose between a sweet 16 or a cruise to Europe and i chose the cruise and im glad i did. I saw things that ive only read about in books and i got to brag about it to everyone lol. But dont worry, you can have a party and wear a beautiful dress at any time but how often will you get to go on a free cruise? =) You'll love it and never forget it, trust me*

I have milions of reasons why you shod take a Cruise,but long story short...you will feel like a princess for a week and you will party every day.Will be something way special,better memory's

DO THE CRUISE! your are crazy if you dont. you will have the ultimate time of you life.
i had a 7 day cruise and i cryed when i had to leave all my new found friends and family haha

i would do the party, and than when you are any where from 18-21 id do the cruise! just cause it a little adult you know. i mean wait till its not such a big deal to go to the clubs they have on them and all the extra fun stuff that goes with it!!!
