What does Royal Carribbean mean when they say partial block veiw?
I am sailing on the Majisty of the seas. I am booked on the 7th floor and they said the window is partial blocked. What does this mean? Does it mean there is a life raft that blocks the whole view? or can you see underneith it?
its like covering half the window...looking out from a corner. Not the best veiw, but a veiw nonetheless.

It means there is something in the way of your ocean view. Could be anything. You might be able to find pictures of the ship or a deck plan to find out.

Probably a beam is blocking your porthole view

Your view is blocked in some cabins when that cabin is near where the lifeboats are stored.
Unless you have a balcony cabin it makes little difference anyhow, because the windows are small and do not open and are usually behind the beds.

It means that there's something in your view so that you don't have 100% access to whatever the view is.....the ocean...the pool etc.
You can call and ask them.

It means you are looking smack dab out up against a smokestack. If you press your faceup against the glass so your cheeks spread out like pancakes you can just catch a tiny sliver of sky off on one side.
Partially blocked could mean 99% blocked.

I had a similar deal on carnival...I wanted a room with french doors that i could open up...I got em, but when i opened the curtain to see..there , right in front of my window was a friggin' LIFEBOAT! I couldnt see sht. At least air and sun light could get in , and unlike an inside cabin, i could tell f it was day or night. DO NOT get an inside cabin....once you close the door and turn off the light its like a tomb!

It means if you want to see out the window, book a diffrent room

There will be a fat guy in a thong doing pilates outside your windows 19 hours a day.

OH THAT it means that your windows will be blocked off by a brick wall.
