Cruiser
I'm 24 I've cruised on Princess, Royal Caribbean, Carnival, and NCL “Norwegian”.

Carnival has been my favorite cruise line I’ve been on period. Went on 3 cruises with Carnival, all to the Caribbean, and I enjoyed every minute of each cruise. The bars on the boat stay open past 2:00am so long as there are people drinking at them. I stayed up to almost 4AM in the morning drinking at one of the bars with a bunch of friends. All the staff is amazing and very friendly, the entertainment is nonstop and aimed at the party goers and newlyweds, and most importantly the atmosphere on the ship is very party oriented and everyone is having a ball. It’s very easy to meet people and have conversations. There have always been very few older travelers on the ship and almost no children. If you’re a partier Carnival is for you. (DO NOT GO ON CHRISTMAS all they play is Christmas music 24/7 the entire time your on the cruise) Also if your under the age of 21 you need to find someone who is 25 or older to room with you; they won’t let you stay in a room by yourself if you’re under the age of 21. The downside to this cruise is if you want to get off the cruise and go see the sights often I found myself with a hang over that would have killed a normal person. It made going out into town or on an excursion a lot less fun than it should have been. I’ve found that this boat is too party oriented if partying ISN’T your only goal.

Princess was also a great cruise line; I only went once on them and got sick for most of the cruise. When I wasn’t sick the entertainment was great and there seemed like a pretty fun party atmosphere just waiting to burst through. More of the older generation and there were more kids on the boat. Aside from that I spent to much time in my cabin to give a good description.

Royal Caribbean, I’ve been on twice and actually have another cruise planned in March. I went to the Bahamas both times on Royal and enjoyed the ship a lot. It had a decent party atmosphere but, it seems when 10:00pm rolls around it flat out disappears unless you’re in the Casino. The bars close around Midnight which is very odd and every woman acts as if you’re trying to rape them when ever you try and strike up a conversation. (I’m not bad looking either) It’s been like that on both the cruises I did with Royal. I’m hoping its some weird Christmas time thing that goes on and it’s not like that in March. There were more young teens that go on this cruise line as well as older folks, but I’ve set to see an actual child. The entertainment on the boat is great days and flat out boring others. One night I found myself in bed by 8Pm, I was just that bored and tired from the excursion. However the reason this cruise line remains my favorite and why I’ve become a repeat customer is the service on the ship is amazing, the food is absolutely amazing, the bar tenders and waiters will go out of their way to be friends with you be friendly (They are also not afraid to break the rules to get a laugh or make your stay more enjoyable). Even though the party ends sooner and the bars close up shop, it gives you reason to go to bed before 4AM and I need to tell you snorkeling hung over after only 5 hours of sleep isn’t fun. All in all this cruise line really makes my vacation as a whole a lot more fun. They don’t over do on any one area and really cater to everyone.

While Carnival is my favorite Royal is a lot easier on my wallet and I tend to go with them now.

As for NCL, Don’t do it. It’s not for the younger generation.

Probably Princess or Royal Caribbean. I really liked the food on Princess. The entertainment was great for both cruise lines. I like Princess Cruise Line slightly better than royal caribbean though. The staff on both cruise lines were friendly and kind. But from experience, I thought that there was a much more better food selection on the Princess.
