It's awesome. You don't have to do anything but show up for meals. You can hang out by the pool, use the gym, go walking around, read in the sun/shade, go to the casino, see the shows, participate in various activities like crafts and trivia. Some ships have movie theaters, too. Basically, you just eat, drink and be merry and don't have to lift a finger. And the ports of call are interesting places to see.

well u go on a big ship and they have a lot of things on there like pool, play area, and small stores. u stay in a smallish room until u get to a destination for a day then u get back on the ship at end of day and u do that for bout 3 destinations. but u sleep on ship in ur room and everything. its rlly fun!

oh and u get 2 do RLLY fun things at the destinations! mostly mexico!

After reading the answers already provided, I have to say that it's hard to add anything to them. It is an experience you'll never forget and you'll drool everytime you think of your trip. I've gone out of Miami a few times and every time I see a movie filmed out of Miami, I search the screen for signs of the port or a ship. You'll dream of the fun, the service, the food, and the ports for ever.

It is a great way to travel. Once on the ship you can eat gourmet food, gamble while it is at sea, use the pools, the gym, sports court, watch movies and live productions, dance, or do nothing at all. Usually you visit several ports. At the ports, you can go out on your own or buy shore excursions which are tours that are offered by the cruise. Princess even has a huge art gallery on board the ships and you can buy really nice art for great prices. This is only a short list of things to do while on a cruise. Just think of it as a floating resort with all the amenities You can even get your hair cut or go shopping while on the ship. A total escape is what Princess calls it.

They are great!!!!! Just rip you off on soda, booze, and extra cost restaurants....If you don't do all the extras they are a food orgy, have tons of entertainment and lots of fancy activities.
