What is a good five day cruise that isn't too expensive? |
I'm looking for good destinations on a cruise (and a good cruise line) for next June, about five days long, and not way too expensive. Any suggestions? Also I'd appreciate if peope didn't suggest Key West or Cozumel, I've already done that cruise with Carnival.
Additional Details
I would love to do a cruise in Greece/Turkey, but I'm not sure if we could afford that right now, something in the Carribbean/Bahamas/Bermuda would probably be more affordable. The Cayman Islands one sounds very nice though, did you go on it personally? |

The Carnival Inspiration out of Tampa. It does a five day from Tampa to Grand Cayman to Calica and back to Tampa. You can get in in the off season between September and December very economically. We went on it in Sept last year, for $299 each. (We went to Cozumel instead of Calica). We got out of the whole trip for four people for four people for about $1300. It is an excellent ship. In fact, it is in drydock being refurbished right now. Tampa is a great port to sail out of. |

With it being summer you are going to be a little more expensive. I think that an Eastern Caribbean cruise would be wonderful. I love that part of the caribbean. I would avoid NCL because they can be pricey and alot of people dont like them. Carnival is cheaper and they have lots of fun things to do. Royal Caribbean is also a great family cruise line with tons of things to do, but they are a little more expensive. Then Celebrity is a nice cruise line with great rates. I would avoid Holland America or Princess as they are more for older people. Another note is if you are going to do a 5 day cruise for a hundred dollars more give or take you could go on a 7 day cruise as the prices dont vary a whole lot between 5 and 7 day cruises. |
