norweigen cruise line....they have this new "freestyle" cruising thing where you can eat whenever you want and with whomever you want. It's easy to cruise the way you want.

I have been on both and royal caribbean is definitely better. The ships are better and offer more onboard amenities and activities. The quality of service is better. On carnival the staff don't seem to enjoy their job and it shows. Royal Caribbean has better food, its hot, fresh, has variety and the food areas are clean. The shows are good and even the nightlife is excellent. They have a nightclub and lots of lounges, so there are multiple nightlife options. On carnival the only thing there is to do is to drink and lounge by the pool. On royal caribbean you have so many options of what to do that its hard to be bored.

i always go by rcl. Carnival is boring. I have a friend whop went on six-night cruise and he said that he id everything thing the ship has, in aout a day. Royal Carribean is fun,. HAS NIGHTLIFe, epecally in the Viking Crown Lounge, and in the adult nightcliub. There are almost no cons to rcl. Carnival has one pro, it has a waterslide, everything else is just cons. Carnival is a waste of money

royal carribean was sweet for a teenager. there were activities every day, and the ship itself was way better than carnival

i've been on both
carnival once
royal Caribbean twice

and trust me, you cant go wrong with royal
it has an ice cream maker on the pool deck
fun activities to do every day
they make fun little pillow animals each night
the food is excellent (try the strawberry soup)
some boats have a rock wall/ surfing thing
super fun excursions

Royal Caribbean is the best choice, I can say that with confidence as I have cruised with them a lot. Lots of great activities for all ages on board. Carnival is a party ship if that is the kind of cruise you want. I will once again cruise with Royal Caribbean in May for two weeks in the Mediterranean.

I just returned from a Carnival cruise and it was wonderful. Our ship was the Conquest our room was great (balcony) the food fantastic. We had a blast everyone was so friendly helpful. The only complaint was the cigar bar was right by the dinner dining room we were assigned yuk!!!!!!!! But everything else was great I would definitely do Carnival again

I have been on Carnival many times and we love them, we always get great service, the staff love to spoil you. they always have something to do and a place to get away from it all too. the food is 5 star, the dinning room can not be beat, and they will gladly give you all you want, my kids are never far from the 24 hr pizza and ice cream either and when they are not there they are at Camp Carnival for the younger and club O2 for the teen. there is always the water slide basketball or mini golf too
