Check Expedia.ca but trust me when I say to forget the cruise and stay at a 4 - 5 star all inclusive resort!!! Cruise's cost more and are more work than they're worth. Stay at a resort and do things on your own time, not a time that the cruise ship director has organized for a stop. The travel sites will have you key in departure and return dates ages of the kids etc... depending on the time of year the difference in price for a family of 5 could be a few thousand dollars!

There are several liners which offer free travel for kids till a certain age though I am not sure which ones do.
As for the 14 day cruise, it can cost anywhere between 2000-3000$ depending on the room that you book. This is for one adult of course. You check online though, never know when you get a good deal.

It depends on the boat you are going on. The Princess costs about $1,500 per person.

They will not allow 5 people in most cabins except for a family suite. My estimate would be around $6000 for a 2 week round trip from LA to Hawaii on the Golden Princess. You may need 2 rooms. I would call Princess at 800-princess and check.

I just returned from this cruise in January. I went as a single with a past cruise discount and paid about $2500.

First, I can't believe all the mean people here. They aren't being funny at all. Anyways, I went on this cruise last October with Princess and it was about $1,500 per person. I booked through vacations to go. You most likely will need 2 cabins though because Princess does not have any rooms that fit 5 people except a family suite. Because of this, you should find a travel agent that you can sit and talk to so they can make the perfect arrangements. BTW, a cruise usually is cheaper then going to Hawaii on your own when you add up the cost of the food, flight, and condo or hotel, plus a car rental.

First, if you want to cruise from the West coast US to Hawaii and back there are just 2 or 2 departure ports: Ensenada, Mexico; San Diego, Ca; and LA, Ca. You'll also have your choice of 2 or 3 cruise lines and the price will depend in part on which cruise line you choose.

We cruised to Hawaii from San Diego (14 day cruise) this past September and the price for two adults in a balcony cabin was about $2300 each. The price for an outside cabin or an inside cabin would have been less by maybe $500 per person. We cruised on Royal Caribbean. Holland America and Carnival also do these 14 day cruises.

All of the cruise lines charge for kids, regardless of their age. But the price for 2 or 3 kids staying in your cabin would be less by about 50 percent than the regular fare. So if you paid $1500 each for two adults then the rate for 3 kids would be about $750 each. So your total would be around $5500 for the lowest priced cabin.
