What is the best cruise for a group of about 8 young adults?

I'm going on a cruise with some friends who are all ~23. We're looking to do a 3-4 night cruise on a modest budget (less than $1000 for the whole trip-including airfare). I was wondering what destinations you would suggest? Cruise lines? Specific ships? It's my first time, and I just don't know where to start.

I'm a travel agent, and the best time to go on a cruise is usually like after hurricane so I looked at the month of December when I always usually go cruising and I seen a cruise called Navigator of the Seas. This ship is awesome, it has a ice skating rink, rock climbing wall, and a whole lot more. And plus it goes to Cozumel Mexico which is one of my favorite places. They have a fun and wild restaurant called Carlos n Charlis's, which u will love. I would love to help you find a good deal on the cruise. And if u can book six cabins you can receive some benefits. I would love for u to email me and I could help you plan this cruise and also find u some good deals on a flight. There are some flights I have found for like $50, I can't guarantee that price with every one but I'll do my best to find a great deal. Just let me know when u are going where u r leaving from, etc and you'll walk away with a good deal. Email me at djd832001@yahoo.com. Hope to hear from u soon

Is it $1000 per head or 1000$/8?

If its the former, you can easily go on a decent cruise vacation for this budget to a whole plethora of exciting destinations.

For an accurate picture of where all can you travel, I suggest that you consult the plenty of websites of various cruise liners. You can also consult your local travel agent.

This can usually be done. Depends on where you live because of the air. I would suggest that you talk to a travel agent. Depending upon when you want to go, it may be possible to set it up as a group sailing which would save you all money plus give you some extra perks. If you plan to go real soon, that would not be possible. I am a cruise specialist and would be happy to help you. There is no charge and we often have lower rates than you can get direct from the cruise line because our company bought space a year ago when it was cheaper. 1-800-892-8694 or see my website.

I would say Royal Caribbean.
I think it might be a little expensive but the ships are great and you will have an amazing time.
Try checking the website.

Carnival is the cheapest line probably.
And if you don't want to spend to much on airfare. they do have ships that leave from differenet ports than Florida.

Look into putting four people in a room and getting the cheaper 3rd and 4th person rates but then splitting everything evenly.
You may even be able to go on a week cruise,

Have Fun!

My wife and I went on a 4 day out of Long Beach to Ensenada and Catalina. It was alright and pretty cheap. Carnival is the cheapest I believe. RCCL is pretty up there in prices. Prices also depend on what time of year you go. I would recommend talking to a travel agent. He/she can give you a bunch of options and shouldn't charge you more then the cruise line would.
