For clean freaks, newer and bigger ships would be better. Agree with less port intensive cruise. Days at sea are very relaxing and pampering especially if you do some of the spa treatments. Overall I like Royal Caribbean better than Carnival for the cleanliness factor. |

Cruise is definately a good choice. The thing my mom loves most about cruising is no cooking or cleaning for a week!
I would chose somewhere hot, so the Caribbean or Mexico. What gets better than a vacation where you lay out on the deck, reading and just relaxing. With tons of delicious food available at any time of the day. Maybe book a few spa appointments for yourself if you are into that kind of thing. Go to the gym, thats always a nice to start or end the day.

i would suggest an Alaskan cruise.
i went on one 2 summers ago with my grandmother.
Alaska is sooo beautiful and very relaxing.
we got to see Hubbard glacier, and go up to the Yukon.
an unforgettable experience!
we first went to Vancouver Canada where our cruise sailed out of.
Vancouver is also a very gorgeous city!!
we used Royal Caribbean as a cruise line.
the people are sooo friendly and the service is great!
it was so much fun, i want to go again. |

In all honesty, any cruise would work. She will get pampered on any cruise. I would also go with one that's not so port intensive, maybe one with a few sea days. |
