What is the best cruise line to go on? What is the best time to go?
This is my first cruise
Im going with a group of my friends (10 - 20)
We are ages 21 and up
Some like to party and some don't.
We want to go to the Bahamas
We went on the carnival last Feb and it was great for the young and for the older. We got the balcony rooms and looking on the ocean early in the morning was great. And they had a lot of things to do if you wanted to take part when the ship was at sea. The food was wonderful all the time, and I highly recommend eating in the big dinning room if you can but the other dinning room is also great. The other thing if you like seeing the shows and party after words you may want to eat at the early time. Now for the one thing that was a hassle was the elevators those are something I will not recommend but I guess there has to be something bad and that was the only thing. You don't have to pack any shampoo or body soap its all in your room and they always restock when you are out. The only other thing watch your towels if you bring them to the steam room or the pool if you lose them they will charge you. Hope I was of some help have a great time.

Yeah I agree with the two above..Carnival or Royal Caribbean. But out of the two, once again, I enjoy Carnival more..but thats just my opinion.
Mayday
Definitly stick to Carnival or Royal on a Bahamas cruise. It will be a younger crowd with a good mix of activities.
As for time of year, I would go in the early summer as you can guarentee it will be warm all cruise and you will probably avoid hurricane season

Royal Caribbean is a great cruise line. They have lots of activities. Any time is a good time, I normally go in May because if any college students are going they are usually out by then. Also its before the start of summer break so not a lot of kids and the weather is great not too hot and not hurricane season yet.

I would recommend Carnival and Royal Caribbean
Carnival is the budget cruise line that generally has the lowest prices. They cater to young people, first time cruiser and families. The best of their ships are their newer ships so do pay attention to when the ship was launched is you find a good and really cheap cruise.
Royal Caribbean is also a cruise line that caters to young cruiser and families. It has the advantage of having the most on-board activities. Things like ice skating, roller blading, mini-golf course, a full sized basketball/tennis court, the rock climbing wall, and on the new Freedom Class ships the surfing simulator, the Flowrider.

Majesty of the Seas on Royal Caribbean is a great ship!
For a young crowd I would stick with Royal Caribbean or Carnival.
What state do you live in? is anyone in the military? law enforcement? fire department? (this can help determine special pricings offered)
