there are many online. vacationstogo.com and cruisecompete.com come to mind. there's cruise.com, cruise411.com also.
i like to go and talk to a cruise travel agent myself , to ask questions i might have.
hope your parents have a great trip.

I used Travelocity.com. their cruise agent was so helpful, and it was so easy dealing with them. it took 5 minutes to book and pay the deposit and we were all set for out May 4th cruise next year on Celebrity Solstice |

Vacationstogo.com have discounts on all the major lines so you can have huge comparisons.
Don't worry if you are in the UK. Everything is priced in USD but much cheaper than equivalent UK sites.
Do remember they don't include flights, so you have to arrange them yourself.

You have a variety of choices when booking a cruise. Are you an experienced cruiser? Do you know exactly what type of travel experience your parents will enjoy? Are you familiar with port cities, good hotels for the night before they leave because with the airlines the way they are, it's never a good idea to travel to the port city on the actual day that your cruise leaves. With so many choices, you could spend hours researching and a good place to start is www.cruisecritic.com. There you'll find tons of information plus a very active message board where you can ask questions. Or, like someone else mentioned, you could take advantage of another person's knowledge.

I have booked cruises several ways, through a regular travel agent, directly with the cruise company and through vacations to go. I believe vacations to go gave me the best price, but travel agents and the cruise companies give you more information and help. If this is your first cruise, or if you are booking multiple cabins, then go through a regular travel agent, otherwise vacations to go is just fine. |

I usually go to vacationstogo.com to see what all the options are, but when it's time to book I"prefer to book directly with the cruise company. |
