What is the cheapest cruise line to take?

Carnival usually has the best rates, but if you watch for promotions or book far enough in advance, sometimes you can beat their rates. That's why out of our 9 cruises 2 have been on CCL. Our 10th is booked on RCI, but we're jumping ship to CCL to save $$$. CCL is a good value for the money. They don't have as many extras as RCI, Princess, and HAL, but we sure don't feel deprived. We like spending less and cruising more often. Check multiple agencies. I like bestpricecruises, crucon, militarycruisedeals, and vacationstogo. Those aren't the only ones worth checking, though.

Carnival cruise line is probably the cheapest, and in my opinion, the best. We have been on a dozen cruises and like carnival the best. The best time of year to get good prices is when the kids are in school. We have gotten some really good prices in September and October. Below are a few places to check out rates. Have a great time.

for 3-4 days Carnival
for 5-7 days Royal Carribean
It also depends the season.

EasyCruise is the cheapest, yes, but they're only sailing in the Med now. And it's not at all a traditional type of cruise.

For sailing from the US, Norwegian is the "cheapest" in quality, from what I've read at CruiseCritic.com, but not necessarily the cheapest price-wise. Carnival is a good value - their prices are low and the quality is decent. Royal is more expensive than Carnival but the quality isn't as good.

Probably Carnival. But I've been on NCL, and I must say, they are on top of their game. Many people love their "free-style" and I do also. Very nice and casual, good people, good food, etc.

Have a good time on whichever cruise you go on!

Well, you get what you pay for but with that said, I believe the cheapest is Carnival. For your money, they do a pretty good job.

Carnival is decently cheap.

We just booked a Royal Caribbean cruise for September. Be advised that they are charging $70 per passenger fuel surcharge on top of the cruise price. We got a better deal by booking through the actual cruiseline (instead of priceline or expedia). Good luck!

NCL is the cheapest and the worst.

Cruises are DEFINATLY NOT a scam. Cruises are better and if you watch what you eat then you won't gain weight. I just went on a celebrity cruise line cruise and it was great.

Cruising is a scam... my advice is don't do it.

They sucker you in with a somewhat decent price, but then they rape you with inflated prices for sodas, for beer, for mixed drinks, for excurions, for their lame photographs and other things.

The rooms are very, very small and uncomfortable. You over-eat and gain weight and the excursions are a disappointment because you have to be back on the ship by 3pm which means you start to wind down your activity at 1:30-2pm - way too early.

Trust me on this one.
