I have always used Vacationstogo.com they are specifically for last minute travels. As it get closer to the dates the rooms go down in price. If you don't know alot about cruising they let you enter the things you are interested in. The newest ships from Royal Caribbean are awesome, they offer a mock surfing experience, huge rock climbing wall, bungie jumping from the side of the ship, a mall, coffee shops etc. If you are looking for more of a party boat then try Carnival, and if you are looking for a very relaxed no hustle or bustle trip try NCL. I've always like Royal becuase there is something for everyone, not just strickly partying (they have an awesome club called the dungeon through!!) or relaxing!
Also, Vacationstogo also sends a weekly newsletter with all the cruise lines and the prices they are at. I've booked 2 cruises through them already and have had excellent luck. You can get a much better price on a cruise if you wait till the last minute, the only problem is you have no say in where your room will be at. But, as I always say, with some of the ships as big as they are, offering so many amenities, you don't spend much time in the room anyway.
Have fun! |
