I went directly trough carnival and they lowered the price twice and upgraded my room 3 times after i booked

and it was cheaper per day then Disney

if you sign up online they will give you a "personal vacation planner" never book on-line use the planner

http://www.carnival.com

it is the best wat to go, I tryed to fined a better price outside them and it is not there.

Check out vacationstogo.com. They offer reduced rates and fast deals up to 70% off the reg. price if you are able to go within a 3 month time frame on most all the major cruise lines. I have found them to be very competent and reputable. They offer these deals on cruises all over the world.

You can try www.lastminutetravel.com; www.cruise411.com;
www.11thhourvacations.com; www.cruise.com and www.skyauction.com.

You can also contact each of the cruise lines directly on or just before the day of the cruise (if thats an option for you) and if there are any unsold cabins they will release them for sale at deeply discounted prices. (My uncle lives in Ft. Lauderdale and keeps a suitcase packed for last minutes departures).

Seriously, use a travel agent. Cruise lines have set new standards that provide the same pricing with travel agents as on-line. There are a lot of details to handle on a cruise and if you miss something your vacation will be ruined - or may not happen at all. A travel agent will take care of all of this for you.

Find an agent that will listen to what you want, ask you questions, then make recommendations. If you go to an agent and you say you want to take a cheap cruise and they immediately slap down a Carnival brochure - leave and find someone else.

You want an agent who will look out for your best interest and provide you with information that will help you plan the best vacation for your budget. Once you find a good agent, stick with them - they will appreciate your regular business and go the extra mile for you.

Hope this helps! Happy cruising!
