TINKERTOY ..... the 1 & only

All of the cruise lines, except Carnival, require that at least one person in each cabin be age 21 or older. Carnival requires that at least one person be age 25 or older. All of the cruise lines are concerned that there is a responsible adult (age 21 or 25) to supervise anyone under that age.
In addition, all cruise line cabins are sold based on double occupancy (two people per cabin). You can still cruise "alone" if you are age 21 but you will have to pay a single supplement to occupy that cabin alone. The single supplement is essentially a double fare; same as if two people were in the cabin. So if you see a fare that $599 for a 7-day cruise that's for each of the two people. |

21+ on Royal caribbean, NCL, Holland, Carnival, Princess, Celebrity and most of the other cruise lines
Disney is 18+
edit: i just looked at Carnival's policy again and it says that you can go alone if you are 21+ but if you are under 21, you need be accompanied by a parent or guardian that is 25+ and you guys have to be in the same room. |

If you can pay for it yourself, then I would say at any age. I mean, my friend traveled to China by herself (of course she was actually going to visit other family there) but she travelled there all by herself. Therefore, by that logic you can probably go on a cruise all by youself too as long as you have all your documents. Of course I guess certain activities might not be accessible to you unless you're a certain age, like clubbing for 18+, or something. |
