On the 3 night cruise you will have one formal night. The other 2 nights are casual. They do not however, allow jeans or shorts in the main dining room, only at the buffet. I've been on the Monarch - great little ship. |

A 3 day cruise will have 1 formal night which is normally a suit / tie. The other nights, the dining would be 'resort casual' which means a pair of of slacks and a polo shirt. |

For the non-formal nights, it's generally no shorts, t shirts, tank tops, open toed shoes (for men) and such. They can't *require* that you dress up for formal night, but it's kind of tacky if you don't and dine int he main dining room. If you want to opt out on that night, dine in one of the other restaurants. Hope this helps. : ) |

you will probably have 2 formal nights.
guys: nice suit, or dress shirt and slacks.
women: cocktail dresses, or formal gowns.
Just dress up and have a great time! When else do you get to dress up these days! |
