I think cruises are the ultimate vacation!! Ive only been on 3 but like you, cant wait for many more to come. Cruises are great because you get to see more than one location in one trip. Its like a buffet. You get to sample more than one thing that way, if you like it, you can go back for more. People look at cruises as being "high priced" but look at what you get for the money! Entertainment/activities, round-the-clock food, lodging, more than one destination (if your cruise is long enough), people catering to your needs, and all the drinks you can ask for! I agree with the users that say cruises are associated with food too often. I would hope that you wouldnt spend thousands to get on a ship to EAT your vacation away. Thats what McDonalds is for. You have to venture out. Cruises are NOT all about food although it IS a perk. I admit the rooms are a tad small but who cares, you shouldnt be spending much time in there anyway, right? I would suggest a cruise to ANY & EVERY one that is thinking about going on vacation & need ideas. Its worth the money, trust me! Perhaps I'll see you on my next cruise! |

Personally, I think the prices for cruises are ridiculous since all you seem to do is eat on a ship, but most people I know who have been on one seem to have enjoyed themselves... Well, that's just my opinion, have fun anyway! |

Well here's my opinion. WE just got back from one, a 14 day Baltic, and now we have two more booked for this year. Cruises are great vacations WE were doing 2 a year, but I think we'll bump that up now |

Cruises are for lazy gluttons. Cruises are so boring because the only thing people think about is the next meal. DUH ! |

Isn't it strange that all the people who think that all you do on a cruise is eat....have never been one one themselves!!!!
We go on an action cruise in the caribbean - we go mountain biking, sea kayaking, snorkelling, rainforest hiking, quadbiking and there's not a person over 50 onboard.
Cruises are not all the same!!! |

Cruises are about so much more than FOOD! There is always so much to do on a cruise, even without the ports of call. I leave on my 5th cruise in a week, and it is my 2nd Alaska cruise. Yes, I have a very high opinion of cruises, and I definitely think they are worth the money. |
