The great thing about cruises is that theres always something planned for all ages all day long. I just got back from being on Explorer of the Seas (royal caribbean) and aside from the awesome food, swimming pools, hot tubs, gym, rock wall, ice skating, golf, roller blading, casino, bars, shops, and arcades, theres certain activities scheduled at certain times like bingo, trivia, game shows, production shows, movies, scavenger hunts (for the kids), dances, tournaments, karaoke, etc...
And the good thing is, you don't have to go to everything. Just pick out the ones that seem interesting to you. My boyfriend and I purposely left some free time in the afternoon for a nap :) |

The two most important activities is to just sit back and relax and eat to your heart's content. But to keep the body moving and groovin' you can go to the movies and dance clubs and shows do sport activities like basketball, tennis, mountain climbing, aerobics, running, swimming, etc. Do some walking at the different ports. You won't be bored. Hope you enjoy the experience. Keep a journal by the way as a memorabilia piece when looking back and to share with others. Be safe and have a wonderful time.

Activities vary according to where the ship is going and the cruise company itself. But you can go to the theater, dance, arts and crafts, see demo's, see lectures, go to the movies, gambling and bingo, pool games, read, play cards or chess, basketball, exercise, spa treatments, ping pong, art auctions, eat, walk, sleep, and of course shore excursions. A cruise can be a very busy time or a lay-ed back, do nothing time. That is all up to the individual. |
