My husband and I take a cruise every winter, usually in January or February. This time, we plan to go on the Norwegian GEM on January 16, 2008 for a 10 day cruise to the Southern Carribean. We are crazy for karaoke and go to every karaoke session on board!!! One of the reasons Norwegian is so appealing for us is that they do offer karaoke every evening of a cruise whether at sea or at port. Almost every cruise offers a passenger talent competition. Last year, my husband came in second place!! It was a lot of fun. Other favorite activities are using the gym and spa, getting a massage and facial, attending all the shows, and relaxing by the pool with a good book. The GEM will offer bowling so I look forward to this activity on board. The best part of a cruise is the opportunity to meet other passengers from all over the country and many parts of world. So a big part of the joy at sea is spent socializing!! |

WE will be going on a cruise this winter, the first week of December. We plan to just make extensive use of the exercise and pool/hot tub facilities and walk the promenade deck a lot for exercise and then just chill out. We will be doing a Caribbean itinerary to islands we have visited before and do not plan any shore excursions. So after the exercise things we'll just relax with a book and a music player.
Beside that we'll go to the shows on ship and try to make the discos. Its gonna be a whatever we fell like doing on ship cruise (and also based on what is available. |

We like reading, going to the corney yet funny pool shows, gamble in the casino, working out and hanging out by the pool. |
